Test Engineer in Robotics

Responsibilities

In the role of Laboratory Engineer / Test Engineer, you will be responsible for:

• Conducting verification and validation tests on components and complete robotic lawn mowers
• Ensuring that products meet regulatory requirements as well as internal quality standards
• Working with mechanical tests, environmental tests, and functional tests in the lab and on dedicated test areas
• Using and further developing test equipment, rigs, and measurement methods
• Planning, executing, and documenting tests in test plans and test reports
• Analyzing test results and communicating them clearly to development and project teams
• Participating in the development of new testing methods and test strategies
• Working with both hardware and software in troubleshooting and verification
• Collaborating closely with designers, software developers, and quality teams

You will work closely with both colleagues and several technical disciplines, with a strong focus on functionality, reliability, and end-user perspective.

Are you the one we are looking for?

• Technical education in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, electronics, or equivalent
• Experience in testing, verification, or laboratory work within product development
• Strong technical curiosity and interest in mechanics, electronics, and systems
• Ability to work both practically and analytically
• Good understanding of physical relationships and systems thinking
• Meticulous, structured, and quality-conscious
• Good communication skills in speech and writing
• Enjoys teamwork, shares knowledge, and discusses technical solutions
• Ability to see the product from the end-user's perspective
• Experience with test equipment, measuring instruments, requirements verification, and testing methodology is a plus
